it was pouring like mad just now and as unwilling as i was, i had to go for my appt with my eye specialist in tanglin.
i was about to go out with my small black umbrella when my colleague stopped me. she ‘advised’ me to use the office umbrella instead as it’s big enough to brace the crazy storm. so i did.
the umbrella, mind you, is really HUGE. perhaps the biggest i’ve ever seen that i felt pretty amazed. LOL. i’m pretty sure that it can shelter 4 people if it’s just a normal rain. but today’s rain was abnormal. i saw many ppl getting wet even with their umbrellas, but not me.
at that moment, i was so thankful to God for the ‘advice’. it may sound small, but this is God’s protection for me as well >_<
with all the migraines that i’ve been having, i can’t afford to get drenched too.
it was funny how ppl on the street looked at me though. a small person carrying a ridiculously huge red umbrella. i bet that it’s quite a sight.
