a few things.
i went to fire conference on fri nite, didn’t plan to at first but since weiling asked and i was free.. well.. so i went to indoor stadium, not knowing what to expect there. she’s late so i entered alone, no familar face around except for jacob. i found myself a seat and kinda impressed with the crowd (yes it was very crowded). not long the pnw started and paul baloche’s there! right on the stage!! aaw… he sang my fave blessed be your name and the worship part was greeat. he sounds really good live and without question he led with spirit. i may join daniel leow as his fans lolx.
i was pretty much impressed with the media as well, the background slides were good~
we had the privilege to listen to reinhard bonnke’s short teaching on evangelism. he was inspiring, this i have to admit. taken from matthew 25: parable of the talents, he made a clear point that we should not keep the gospel and the good news to ourselves. the best defence on the gospel is to spread it to ‘enemies’
we gotta dig out all the buried talents.. and talents that we’re talking about here is people!
he mentioned a few things on trusting God for few areas in our lives as well, risk it and even if we lose it, God will replace it. it’s better than not trying at all.
he’s not that young anymore but yet so much fire in him. that is a man who lives for Jesus.
after the conference, i realized that there were quite a no of familiar ppl.. met daniel at the entrance (why am i not surprised) together with some ywam ppl. priscilla was there too, nel and some others were there, joseph lee and some adults ppl were there too.
me, weiling and pris decided to have a late nite supper and catch germany vs argentina together, so we went to clarke quay. man that place was crowded! we hardly got a place to sit lolx.. but it was quite good mixing with all those crazy supporters.. i think it’s almost 3 am by the time i reached home =p
by the way my italy won again hahaa… but i seriously don’t dare to watch them against germany next.
this world cup has given me lots of headaches due to the lack of sleep.. i wonder how the ppl in europe survive, are they skipping work and school everyday?
